| Valley View Business Park Phase II Awarded Funding |
| The Scranton Lackawanna Industrial Building Company (SLIBCO) received a $5 million grant and a $6.5 million loan from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania "Business In Our Sites" program. The funding will be used for site preparation, construction of interior roadway, storm water management, and the extension of electrical, communications, and gas utilities in Phase II of Valley View Business Park in Jessup. Located along U.S. Route 6, SLIBCO has developed 127 acres of the Business Park in Phase I and is planning to develop 730 acres for Phase II. The park is available to industrial-based, owner-user/tenants related to warehousing, manufacturing, office and distribution.
