SLIBCO Hosts Incubator Open House

SLIBCO, the not-for-profit industrial development affiliate of The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce, recently hosted an Incubator Open House at the TekRidge Center in Jessup.

The event allowed TekRidge Center’s incubator clients, as well as representatives from the Carbondale Technology Transfer Center, the chance to introduce their business to students and staff from Penn State Worthington Scranton. Students had the chance to discuss potential employment and/or internship opportunities; while the businesses had the opportunity to further discuss externship, research and project opportunities. Businesses also gave students real-word tips for application of their major courses of study in their lives.
