Recently, SLIBCO staff attended the PEDA Fall Conference in Reading, Pennsylvania. PEDA, or the Pennsylvania Economic Development Association, is a Pennsylvania statewide organization representing economic development professionals. This annual event provides the opportunity to share best practices that enhance the professional dialogue and support local, regional, and statewide economic development initiatives.
“This was my first PEDA conference, and the value of this event is tremendous,” said AJ Cimahosky, economic development specialist. “I’ve certainly come away with some new ways to look at potential opportunities within Scranton and Lackawanna County. It really is an exciting time to be in economic development in Pennsylvania and our region.”
