Yesterday, The Chamber’s affiliate, Scranton Lackawanna Industrial Building Company (SLIBCO), held its quarterly board meeting.
The board and Chamber staff expressed a sincere appreciation for staff member Virginia Goodrich with a proclamation to honor her dedication and distinguished service to the organization.
Goodrich has worked at The Chamber for over 58 years. She serves as the executive secretary to the president and CEO and has been the SLIBCO secretary since 1995. Goodrich will retire at the end of this year.
The board also moved to dedicate two Archbald Business Park roadways to Austin Burke, former president and CEO of The Chamber (1981-2013), and Virginia Goodrich for their impact on the region’s economic development.
