The Scranton Plan, an affiliate of the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce, recently held its annual Summer Festival at the Country Club of Scranton. This year’s Summer Festival was co-sponsored by Lackawanna County, NorthPoint Development, UGI, Mericle Commercial Real Estate, Colwell-Naegle Associates, Inc. and Trammel Crow Company.
The Summer Festival is an economic development marketing initiative targeting site selection consultants, real estate professionals and corporate expansion and relocation executives. Organizers say that the festival’s goal is to introduce the quality of life and business opportunities available in the Greater Scranton area. This year’s event welcomed more than 50 real estate brokers, consultants and site selection specialists from neighboring states.
“Summer Festival is one of our most successful marketing tools, allowing us to showcase the real estate and quality of life of Lackawanna County,” said Amy S. Luyster, vice president, The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce. “Real estate professionals, site selection consultants and corporate executives representing companies looking for corporate expansion were in attendance and able to see firsthand the many business opportunities available in the Greater Scranton area.”
